Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to PAINT DAMAGE NOTICE .
  1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
  2. Open the door.
  3. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Remove the front door speaker. Refer to Radio Front Side Door Speaker Replacement .
  6. Remove the outside mirror. Refer to Power Mirror Replacement .
  7. Remove the front door window belt inner sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Remove the front door window belt outer sealing strip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  9. Remove the front door window weatherstrip. Refer to Front Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  10. Remove the front door frame applique. Refer to Front Side Door Window Frame Rear Applique and Outer Weatherstrip Replacement .
  11. Remove the window channel retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
  12. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  13. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  14. Remove the front door inside handle. Refer to Front Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  15. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer to Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
  16. Remove the front door outside door handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  17. Remove the front door lock. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Replacement .
  18. Remove the front door body side molding. Refer to Body Side Molding Replacement .
  19. Remove the inflatable restraint side impact sensor.
  20. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
  21. Remove the front door rubber conduit. Refer to Front Side Door Replacement .
  22. Remove the front door hinge bolts from the door side. Refer to Front Side Door Adjustment .

  23. Support the front door.
  24. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.
