Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement



Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the intake manifold cover.
2. Loosen the clamps at the air cleaner housing and throttle body.
3. Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the camshaft cover.
4. Remove the PCV hose from the camshaft cover.
5. Remove the push pin retainer.
6. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.




7. If necessary, reposition the PCV hose clamp at the outlet duct.
8. If necessary, remove the PCV hose from the outlet duct.

Installation Procedure




1. If necessary, install the PCV hose to the outlet duct.
2. If necessary, position the PCV hose clamp at the outlet duct.




3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body and air cleaner housing.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

4. Tighten the clamps at the air cleaner housing and throttle body.

Tighten the clamps to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

5. Install the push pin retainer.
6. Install the PCV hose to the camshaft cover.
7. Position the PCV hose clamp at the camshaft cover.
8. Install the intake manifold cover.
