Installation Procedure

- Route the upper wiring harness and boot (2) to the rear upper body (3).
- Pull down on left rear of headliner to route upper liftgate harness.

- Install the upper liftgate harness (1) with retainers (2) to the left inner quarter panel.

- Connect the liftgate wiring harness connectors (2) to the rear body wiring harness (3).
- Connect the upper liftgate harness connectors (1) to the rear body harness (2).
- Install the left upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement

- Route the upper liftgate harness through the upper liftgate (1) and install boot (2).

- Install the lower liftgate wire harness with retainers to the liftgate.
- Connect the lower liftgate harness electrical connectors to the upper liftgate harness (1, 2).
- Connect the rear wiper relay electrical connector.
- Connect the rear wiper motor electrical connectors.
- Connect the liftgate latch electrical connectors.
- Connect the license plate lamp electrical connectors.
- Install the high mounted stop lamp. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement

- Install the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Panel Replacement
.
- Close the liftgate.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
