Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the hood.
  2. Remove the hood hold-open rod (1) from the retaining clip (3).
  3. Rotate the hold-open rod (1) from the normal rest position 90 degrees counterclockwise.
  4. Pull forward and remove the hold-open rod (1) from the grommet (2).
