1	Did you review the Instrument Panel, Gages and Console Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?	Go to Step 2	Go to Symptoms - Instrument Panel, Gages and Console
2	Verify that the instrument cluster gages are inoperative. Does the system operate normally?	Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections	Go to Step 3
3	Disconnect the instrument cluster connector. Test for an open condition between terminal 40 and a good ground. Refer to Circuit Testing . Does an open condition exist?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 5
4	Repair the open in the WH/BK wire between the instrument cluster and G200. Refer to Wiring Repairs . Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 8	-
5	With connector still disconnected. Test terminal 1 for open or short to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing . Is open or short present?	Go to Step 6	Go to Step 7
6	Repair open or short to ground. Refer to Wiring Repairs . Did you repair short or open?	Go to Step 8	-
7	Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement . Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 8	-
8	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	System OK	Go to Step 3
