Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, command the fuel pump relay ON and OFF with a scan tool. Listen/feel for relay to click and for fuel pump to turn ON and OFF.

If the fuel pump operates continuously, test the supply voltage circuit of the fuel pump for a short to voltage. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the fuel pump relay.
