Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .Preliminary Procedure: Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE-47716)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (2.4L LE5 Only) .
1 Hose Assembly, Radiator Surge Tank Inlet
Tip: 
  • Using J 38185  position radiator surge tank outlet hose clamps aside and remove hose from the fittings. See Special Tools .
  • Note routing of the radiator surge tank inlet hose to ensure proper insulation.
