NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .Preliminary Procedure: Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut Tighten: 37 N.m (27 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Assembly Tip: Disconnect the electrical connector. Remove the steering wheel using J 1859-A Steering Wheel Puller with J 36541-A Steering Wheel Puller Legs. Make an alignment mark to note the relationship between the steering wheel and the steering shaft. The marks will be needed to align the wheel during installation.
