Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the ignition coil (2).
    2. Fig 1: View Of Ignition Coil Module And Module Mounting Bracket

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the ignition coil screws (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  3. Connect the spark plug wires.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPO LS4) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (RPOs L26/L32) in Engine Electrical.
