Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the rear compartment lid.
  2. Remove the rear compartment lid trim cover. Refer to Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim Replacement .
  3. Note the routing of the electrical harness.
  4. Disconnect all of the electrical connectors from the components that they are attached to.
  5. Disconnect the wiring harness retainers from the rear compartment lid and in the rear compartment.
  6. Remove the rear compartment wiring harness from the rear compartment lid.
  7. Remove the wiring harness from the vehicle.
