Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Disable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove the door trim panel.




3. Remove the fasteners securing the sensor to the vehicle and remove the sensor from the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure




1. Connect the electrical connector.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Position the sensor to the vehicle and install the sensor fasteners.

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

3. Install the door trim panel.
4. Enable the roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
