Action Taken When the DTC Sets

The PCM illuminates the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL).
The PCM stores the conditions that were present when the DTC set as Freeze Frame data.
The PCM enters the fail-safe function and begins Fuel Cut-off mode operation during high engine load operation.
