Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister. Refer to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of EVAP Vacuum Leak Pump

  2. Pinch both sides of the hose connector and disconnect the EVAP filter line from the inlet port (4) of the EVAP vacuum leak pump (2).
  3. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum leak pump.
  4. Remove the 3 bolts and the EVAP vacuum leak pump (2) from the canister (3).
