Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge valve (2).
  2. Disconnect the 2 vacuum hoses (4) from the EVAP canister purge valve (2).
  3. Remove the EVAP canister purge valve from the air inlet duct hose.
  4. Inspect the EVAP canister purge valve, and the EVAP purge system for carbon particle contamination, before replacing the EVAP canister purge valve.
