Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
    2. Fig 1: Air Cleaner Hose And Cap Assembly

  2. Release the two front retaining clips (3).
    3. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Cover, Air Cleaner Element, And Lower Assembly

  3. Lift the air cleaner cover (1) up and away from the lower assembly (3).
  4. Remove the air cleaner element (2).
