Intake Manifold Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the intake manifold and new gasket.
  2. Install the 2 bolts to the alternator bracket.
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  3. Install the intake manifold bolts and nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the upper intake manifold nuts and the bolts to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

    Tighten:  Tighten the lower intake manifold bolt to 46 N.m (34 lb ft).

  4. Install 2 bolts and 1 nut to the intake manifold support bracket.

    Tighten:  Tighten the intake manifold support bracket bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  5. Install the oil dipstick guide bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil dipstick guide bolt to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  6. Connect the brake booster vacuum hose.
  7. Connect the EVAP hose for the ORVR.
