Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Remove the ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: PCV Hoses At Cylinder Head Cover

  3. Disconnect the 2 Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hoses from the cylinder head cover.
  4. Remove the 2 nuts and 1 bolt from the ventilation pipe.
  5. Remove the ventilation pipe and gasket.
  6. Remove the 9 bolts, wire harness protector, cylinder head cover and gasket.
  7. Remove the O-ring from the cylinder head cover.
