Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Position the clutch pedal assembly in the vehicle.
  2. Connect the CPP switch electrical connector.
  3. Connect the CCR switch electrical connector.
  4. NOTE: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the 2 clutch pedal retaining nuts and 1 bolt.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the retaining nuts to 12 N.m (106 lb in).
    • Tighten the retaining bolt to 19 N.m (14 lb ft).

  7. Install the clevis clip and the pin.
  8. Install the Lower Instrument Panel. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Trim Panel Replacement - Lower .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
