Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the passenger seat belt indicator into the IP center trim panel until the locking tabs engage.
  2. Install the rear defogger switch, if removed. Refer to Rear Window Defogger Switch Replacement .
  3. Install the hazard warning switch, if removed. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch Replacement .
  4. Install the A/C switch, if removed. Refer to HVAC Control Assembly Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual.
  5. Connect the following components:
    • The passenger seat belt indicator electrical connector
    • The rear defogger switch electrical connector
    • The hazard warning switch electrical connector
    • The A/C switch electrical connector
  6. Install the IP accessory center trim plate (1) to the IP assembly. Ensure that the retaining clips are fully engaged.
