NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Remove the shift knob, if equipped with a manual transmission. Refer to Shift Control Knob Replacement . Remove the console shift lever bezel, if equipped with an automatic transmission. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement . Remove the instrument panel assist handle. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assist Handle Replacement .
1	Plate Assembly, I/P Cluster Trim Tip: Disconnect the electrical connectors.
2	Clip, Retainer (Qty: 10)

Preliminary Procedure

Remove the shift knob, if equipped with a manual transmission. Refer to Shift Control Knob Replacement .
Remove the console shift lever bezel, if equipped with an automatic transmission. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement .
Remove the instrument panel assist handle. Refer to Instrument Panel (I/P) Assist Handle Replacement .

Tip: Disconnect the electrical connectors.
