Callout Component Name
Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
  2. Remove the door sill trim. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  3. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Hinge Pillar .
  4. Remove the front seat back body panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Body Panel Replacement .
Carpet Panel Replacement Right or Left 
1 Front Floor Panel Carpet Assembly, Right or Left as required
Carpet Panel Replacement Center 
1 Front Floor Panel Carpet Assembly, Right and Left
2 Front Floor Panel Carpet Assembly, Center
Tip:  The carpet must be cut as shown in front of the cross car beam and as high up the sides as possible in order to replace it without removing the HVAC module. Reinstall the modified carpet with two sided tape ensuring the seams are tight.
