Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine oil level switch to the oil pan.
  2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the engine oil level switch bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the engine oil level switch bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to engine oil level switch.
  5. Fill the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement 
  6. Inspect for oil leaks after engine start up.
