Installation Procedure

  1. Install the EVAP vacuum leak pump (2) to the EVAP canister (3) and secure with 3 bolts.
    2. NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the pump bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum hose to the small port of the EVAP leak pump.
  4. Connect the EVAP filter line to the inlet port (4) of the vacuum leak pump (2)
  5. Install the EVAP canister to the vehicle. Refer to Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Replacement .
