Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Pontiac)  or Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) (Chevrolet) 
  2. Remove the screws (1, 3) from the top of the IP cluster (2).
  3. Remove the IP cluster (2) pulling rearward.

  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (5) from the IP cluster (2).
  5. Remove the IP cluster (2) from IP carrier.
