Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPOs L26/L32) in Engine Electrical.
    2. Fig 1: Engine Mount Strut, Bracket & Bolts - Right

  2. Remove the right engine mount strut from the right engine mount strut bracket.
  3. Remove the air conditioning compressor mounting bolts. Refer to Compressor Replacement (L26 L32) in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning.
  4. Remove and set the air conditioning compressor aside.

  5. Remove the bolts from the right engine mount strut bracket.
  6. Remove the right engine mount strut bracket.
