Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the I/P compartment latch. Refer to Latch Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .

  2. Insert the key into the I/P compartment door lock cylinder. Rotate the key clockwise.
  3. Insert a small diameter tool into the slot on the upper side of the door handle cylinder housing. Depress and hold the lock cylinder retainer while rotating the key further clockwise to the stop.

  4. Pull to remove the lock cylinder.
