Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper .
  2. Remove the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computer/Integrating Systems.

  3. Remove the screw (1) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.
  4. Remove the bolt (6) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the lower radio bracket.
  5. Remove the bolts (3) and (4) attaching the right end bracket assembly (2) to the vehicle.
  6. Remove the two bolts (5) attaching the right end bracket (2) to the instrument panel inflatable restraint.
  7. Detach the wiring harness and remove the right end bracket assembly (2) from the vehicle.
