Diagnostic Aids

If the programmed instrument cluster values are corrupted, reprogramming can be carried out via Tech 2 to rectify the fault.

DTC B0024 - EE Checksum Error

1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle

  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn the ignition ON, with the engine OFF.
  3. Select Diagnostics/Model Year/Vehicle Model/Body/Instrument/Program/Configuration and following the instructions to verify the configuration programming.
Is programming completed successfully?		 Go to Step 3  Go to Diagnostic Starting Point - Computer/Integrating Systems
3 Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
Did you complete the replacement?		 Go to Step 4  -

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC as specified in the supporting text.
Does the DTC reset?		 Go to Step 2  System OK
