Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (FWD) or Fuel Tank Replacement (AWD) .
Use a screwdriver in order to release the lock tab of the FLVV cover (1).
Remove the FLVV cover (1) by rotating the cover counter clockwise while lifting up.

Insert a pry tool (2) between the FLVV (1) and the FLVV gasket.
Lift all around the outer edge of the FLVV and remove the FLVV (1) from the fuel tank.
