Removal Procedure

  1. Apply the park brake.
  2. Remove the floor console bolts from the sides of the console. Adjust the front seats as required.
  3. Shift the transaxle to 2.
  4. Remove the screw from the shift handle. Remove the shift handle.
  5. Pull the floor console rearward slightly. Disconnect the electrical connector at the front of the floor console.
  6. Remove the floor console.

  8. Remove the wiring harness.
  9. Remove the HUD switch, if equipped. Refer to Head Up Display Switch Replacement .
  10. Remove the traction control switch. Refer to Traction Control Switch Replacement in Anti-lock Brake System.
  11. Remove the accessory power receptacles. Refer to Cigar Lighter Housing Replacement - Floor Console and to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - Floor Console in Power Outlets.
  12. Remove the armrest and the hinge. Refer to Console Armrest Replacement - Front Floor .
