Installation Procedure

  1. Align the compartment to the upper trim plate.
    2. Fig 1: View Of Compartment & Upper Trim Plate (Front Floor)

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the compartment screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Align the side trim panels to the locators.
  4. Install the side trim panel screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the compartment screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Align the rear cover to the floor console.

  7. Install the rear cover screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  8. Install the wiring harness.
  9. Install the accessory power receptacle to the console compartment. Refer to Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement - Floor Console in Power Outlets.
  10. Install the armrest and the hinge. Refer to Console Armrest Replacement - Front Floor .
  11. Install the compartment mat.
  12. Install the floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Front Floor .
