Change Oil Soon

The DIC illuminates the CHANGE OIL SOON message in the driver information center (DIC) when the PCM determines that the engine oil life is less than 5 percent. The PCM sends a class 2 message to the DIC requesting illumination. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor.
