Installation Procedure

  1. Install the instrument panel compartment door handle, if removed. Refer to Handle Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
  2. Install the instrument panel compartment door latch, if removed. Refer to Latch Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Compartment .
  3. Position the instrument panel compartment door (6) to instrument panel (1), while aligning the left-side of the compartment to the instrument panel retainer and engage the right-side to the right-hand clip.
  4. Install the bumper stops (5) to the bumper lugs (4) on each side of the compartment door (6).
  5. Push in the compartment bumper stops (5) while closing the compartment door (6) until the compartment bumper stops (5) are engaged.
