1	Did you review the Instrument Panel and Gages Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?	Go to Step 2	Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster
2	Verify that the KEY in Chime is inoperative. Does the system operate normally?	Go to Testing for Electrical Intermittents in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	Turn the ignition OFF. Connect the Tech 2 to the data link connector (DLC). With the Tech 2, command the chime on. Does the cluster chime?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 7
4	Turn the ignition key to the Accessories position. Select Diagnostics / Model Year / Vehicle Model / Body / Instrument / Miscellaneous Tests / Key In Accessories Position, and conduct the test as directed by the soft keys at the bottom of the Tech 2 screen. Does the Tech 2 Display ON for Accessories?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 5
5	Using a digital ohmmeter, check the continuity of the accessory power circuit between the instrument cluster and the ignition switch. Is continuity present?	Go to Step 8	Go to Step 6
6	Repair the accessory power circuit between the instrument cluster and the ignition switch. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 8	-
7	Replace the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the replacement?	Go to Step 8	-
8	Operate the system in order to verify the repair. Did you correct the condition?	System OK	Go to Step 2
