Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Install the engine support fixture.
  2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  3. Remove the left hand splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE - LEFT in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the right hand splash shield. Refer to SPLASH SHIELD REPLACEMENT - ENGINE - RIGHT in Body Front End.
  5. Remove the 2 bolts from the front transaxle mount.
  6. Remove the front transaxle mount through bolt
  7. Remove the insulator to the mount bracket.
  8. Remove the 2 front transaxle bracket bolts and bracket from the transaxle.
