Vehicle Speed Sensor: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) electrical connector. SeeFig 1 .
  3. Remove the one retaining bolt (1) and the VSS (2) from the transaxle.
  4. Inspect the VSS "O" ring for cuts or damage. Replace as necessary.
