Installation Procedure

  1. Position the right I/P trim panel (3) to the I/P (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the right I/P trim screws (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb in).

  3. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET)  or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC)  .
  4. Close the I/P compartment door.
