Removal Procedure

  1. Apply the park brake.
  2. Shift the transaxle shift lever from Park to 1.
  3. Remove the left instrument panel (I/P) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
  4. Remove the steering column filler. Refer to STEERING COLUMN FILLER REPLACEMENT  .
  5. Tilt the steering wheel to the lowest position.
  6. Grasp the edge of the I/P cluster trim plate. Pull rearward to disengage the retainers.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp switch.
  8. Remove the I/P cluster trim plate.
