Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect the brake pipes from the proportion valve.
  2. Remove Master Cylinder brake pipes from proportion valve.
  3. Remove the nuts that retain the proportion valve to the mounting bracket.
  4. Remove the proportion valve from the bracket.
  5. To install, place the proportion valve on bracket and install retaining nuts.
  6. Install master cylinder brake pipes to proportion valve.
  7. Install the brake pipes to the proportion valve.
  8. Bleed brake system. See BLEEDING, FILLING & FLUSHING BRAKE SYSTEM .
