Installation Procedure

  1. Perform the following steps in order to install the knee bolster to the instrument panel:
    1. 1.1. Align the clips with the slots in the instrument panel.
    2. 1.2. Push in, in order to secure the knee bolster.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the bolts to the bottom of the knee bolster.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts/screws to 2.5 N.m (22 lb in).

  3. Install the IP insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right  and Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left .
