Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove the right rear tire and wheel assembly.
  3. Remove the right wheel drive shaft. See AXLE SHAFTS - REAR article.
  4. Remove the differential output shaft oil seal (1).

Do not damage the differential sealing surfaces.
