Installation - Equalizer

  1. Install the equalizer assembly to the front park brake cable. See Fig 3.
  2. Connect the front park brake cable to the right rear cable at the connector clip. See Fig 1.
  3. Connect the left rear park brake cable and adjustment stud assembly to the equalizer assembly by installing the adjustment stud to the equalizer nut.
  4. Adjust the park brake. See appropriate procedure under PARK BRAKE  in ADJUSTMENTS & INSPECTION.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
