Installation - Rear

  1. Install the brake caliper bracket.
  2. Install the caliper bracket bolts. Tighten the brake caliper bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the brake pad retainers to the brake caliper bracket.
  4. Apply a thin coat of (GM P/N 18010909) or equivalent to the brake pad retainers where the brake pads contact the brake pad retainers.
  5. Lubricate the brake caliper bolt bushings with (GM P/N 18010909) or equivalent.
  6. Install the brake caliper bolt bushings to the brake caliper bracket.
  7. Lubricate the brake caliper bolt boots with (GM P/N 18010909) or equivalent.
  8. Install the brake caliper bolt boots to the brake caliper bracket.
  9. Install the brake caliper. See BRAKE CALIPER .
  10. Install the tire and wheel.
  11. Lower the vehicle.
