Adjusting Screw: Removal

  1. Remove the brake drum. See BRAKE DRUM .
  2. Remove the adjuster spring. Disengage the adjuster spring hook end from the tab on the adjuster actuator.
  3. Use the Brake Shoe Spanner and Spring Remover (J-38400) in order to spread the brake shoes apart.
  4. Remove the adjuster.
