Passenger Side Windshield Wiper Blade Intermittently Contacts Driver's Wiper Blade at Base of Windshield (Install Shorter Passenger Side Wiper Blade)

Condition

Some owners may comment that intermittently the tip of the passenger side windshield wiper blade contacts or touches the driver's wiper blade when they are near the base of the windshield. This condition may be most noticeable if there is an accumulation of snow built-up below the blades at the base of the windshield.

Correction

Replace the passenger side wiper blade with a new blade that is approximately 50 mm (2 in) shorter. This new blade has an overall length of approximately 550 mm (22 in) compared to the original blade which is approximately 600 mm (24 in) long.
