Fluid Filler Tube Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the oil indicator from the filler tube.
2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
3. Remove the retaining nut from the EGR at the top of the filler tube.
4. Remove the lower retaining bolt at the base of the filler tube.
5. Remove the fluid filler tube.

Installation Procedure

Important: Do NOT place the fluid filler tube seal on the fluid filler tube when installing the tube or damage to the seal will result.





1. Position the fluid filler tube. Install the fluid filler tube seal in the transaxle.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the fluid filler tube bracket bolt through the fluid filler tube bracket.
^ Tighten the fluid filler tube bracket bolt to 13 Nm (115 inch lbs.).
3. At the top of the filler tube Install the retaining nut to the filler tube the EGR at the top of the filler tube.
4. Inspect for proper fluid level.
5. Inspect for fluid leaks.
