Trailer Wiring Harness Pigtail Omitted From Vehicle

2001 Pontiac Aztek with RPO V92

Built Between VIN Breakpoints 15527230 to 15540390

Some vehicles ordered with RPO V92 (Trailer Provision Option) may not have had the applicable wiring harness pigtail, P/N 15328018, shipped with the vehicle (in a plastic bag in the vehicle with number 8019 on a tag around the neck of the bag). If a customer requests assistance with the wiring harness, inspect the SPID (Service Parts Identification) label for option code V92. If the vehicle was produced with the V92 option, please provide the wiring harness to the customer free of charge.

This wiring harness pigtail plugs directly into the vehicle wiring harness pre-provided weather pack connector. This eliminates the need for splices. The location of the connector to which the wiring harness pigtail plugs into is about 254 mm (10 in) forward of the rear bumper of the vehicle and outboard of the left side unibody rail.





For customer convenience, please provide the chart so that the connector for the customers trailer wiring may be installed properly.
