Removal Procedure





1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the tie rod bolt.
3. Remove the tie rod nut.
4. Remove the tie rod.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the tie rod.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the tie rod nut.
- Tighten the tie rod nut to 80 Nm (59 ft. lbs.).
3. Install the tie rod bolt.
- Tighten the tie rod bolt to 85 Nm (63 ft. lbs.).
4. Adjust the rear toe angle.
5. Lower the vehicle.
