Evaporative Emission Hoses/Pipes Replacement - Engine/Chassis

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Disconnect the Evaporative Emission (EVAP) purge pipe from the EVAP canister purge valve.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe near the fuel filter.




4. Disconnect the EVAP purge pipe from the chassis attaching hardware.
5. Carefully remove the EVAP purge pipe from the chassis.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Position the EVAP purge pipe on the chassis
2. Snap the EVAP purge pipe into the chassis attaching hardware.
3. Connect the chassis EVAP purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge pipe located near the fuel filter




4. Lower the vehicle.
5. Connect the EVAP purge pipe to the EVAP canister purge solenoid.
