Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Pump Outlet Pipe/Hose Replacement

REMOVAL PROCEDURE




1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
3. Remove the left wheel assembly.
4. Remove the left front tender liner.
5. Loosen the pinch clamp on the Secondary Air Injection (AIR) exhaust pipe hose.
6. Disconnect the AIR exhaust hose from the AIR pump.
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the air intake duct.
9. Loosen the pump outlet hose to the crossover pipe pinch clamp.
10. Remove the pump outlet hose.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the pump outlet hose to the crossover pipe.
2. Place the pinch clamp around the outlet hose to the crossover pipe connection.
3. Install the air intake duct.
4. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
5. Lightly lubricate the inner edge of the AIR exhaust hose.
6. Attach the AIR exhaust hose to the AIR pump outlet port.
7. Place the pinch clamp around the outlet port and/or exhaust hose connection.
8. Install the left front fender liner.
9. Install the left wheel assembly.
10. Lower the vehicle.
